I attended DomCon Atlanta only once, when I was the Guest of Honor in Nov. 2004. I would love to go again this year, but not with out a several hundred bucks spending money, at least.

Not to sound to vague but, anything that pushes limits and challenges the submissive's will to please. My specific interests can vary greatly depending my mood and the natural chemistry between myself and my partner. The most consistent of my long list of interests often tend to involve some/many forms and variations of bondage, anything mentally or physically invasive, all types of sensory play, electro-play, any type of humiliation play, enemas, tickling/scratching, Bastinado, nt/cbt...to name just a few. I'm the type of girl that hates having to choose, I want to have it all and do it all.

I WISH! Unfortunately, rarely do women answer my ads. It is even more seldom that I have had paid sessions with a female submissive; except those accompanied by a partner. Almost all of the female clients I've had sessions had their male significant other present; either their Master silently observing, their voyeur lover observing or their novice lover, there to receive private lessons in topping.
I'd have to think it's probably a matter of supply and demand. Both Dommes and female subbies rarely lack offers from potential playmates (whether they find any amongst them are compatible in interests, location, personality and available free time is a whole other story entirely).
Also, young men are raised to have a far more open attitude towards sex work/adult entertainment then girls are raised to be. This more than likely makes women even less likely to consider the possibility of booking sessions with ProDommes (or any other intimate erotic services).

Being a huge music lover, I used to think it was extremely important. It wasn't till I spent almost a year at the Den of Iniquity, Los Angeles, that I came to realize it wasn't.
At DOI, there was only one CD player jam box for all 6 playrooms and the staff lounge. I often would start a session only to realize I forgot the stereo and didn't want to interrupt the session to get the stereo. We were above Hollywood Blvd so there was always the hiss of traffic just below; it sounded much like the sound of surf...
I've come to find that it isn't always easy to find music that feels right at the present moment but the white noise of the city and the sound of the freeway in the distance is always harmonizes with any scene perfectly (except when it's too quiet outside and someone on the street starts shouting).
Otherwise, my music selection doesn't reflect, influence or convey my attitude really. I haven't changed the cd in months. What it sometimes does effect is the client. If someone is nervous and already difficult to sooth and get to a more managable state it's essential that your music selection be as soothing as possible.
Anyone already consistently relaxed into the scene can often be played with to just about anything that works for the top, as long as it's at a low to moderate volume.
Though, keep in mind to not play music too low or it could sound can be distracting as well.

Never! The success that is alluding you is not because your goal is unobtainable. More likely than not, it's because your methods are flawed.
There are 2 ways to fail...
1. Give up prematurely ... or
2. Repeat the same mistakes over and over by not "going back to the drawing board" before you "try-try again".
If your goal is a first session with a Dominant Mistress, you're respectful and you have the required tribute a first session is as easy as calling one or two Mistresses from an online Domina Directory, such as maxfisch.com or the like.
If you are seeking to not just session on an hourly basis, but looking for something more personal, don't let a Mistress's negligence or preoccupation discourage you... instead, try harder to be patient and make special efforts to anticipate the Mistresses needs and desires based on her casually conversations, blogs and any other mentions she might make.
Dominant women are, by nature, difficult and often distant. Your first test is to be attentive and patient enough to prove that you are serious and dedicated... not just another passive aggressive bottom-topper or attention starved subbie that needs micro-management and supervision.
